About this app

Tellem Fieldworker is the companion app for field-service technicians whose company uses Tellem. It keeps the office and your customers informed about where you are during the workday — so arrival windows stay accurate and nobody has to call to ask "how far out is the tech?"

This app requires a Tellem account. You pair it once using the details your employer provides. If your company doesn't use Tellem, this app won't do anything on its own.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• See your day at a glance — assigned appointments, addresses, and current status.
• Share your location automatically while you're on shift, so the office and customers get real-time arrival estimates.
• Arrive hands-free — your status updates to "arrived" automatically when you reach a job, with a manual button as a backup.

LOCATION & YOUR PRIVACY
Tellem Fieldworker uses location in the background so arrival times stay accurate even when the app isn't open and your screen is off. You stay in control:
• Background location is collected only after you turn on sharing and grant permission.
• Sharing can be limited to your company's configured work hours — outside that window, no location is sent.
• A persistent notification appears whenever your location is being shared.
• Location history is retained according to your employer's data-retention settings, and is never sold.

Turn sharing off any time, or unpair the device to stop completely.
