About this app

Make room for deeper focus. Study Yaps brings a Pomodoro timer, app blocking and calming sounds together for study and work. Choose a rhythm, set a daily goal and schedule your next session. Take short and long breaks at your own pace.

Start free: block up to five apps, listen to rain or white noise and choose Midnight or Night desk. Track focus minutes, streaks, levels, XP and achievements. Celebrate every completed session. No ads.

Study Yaps Plus adds unlimited app blocking, multiple blocklists and schedules, custom focus rhythms, every photo scene and your own photos. Discover rainforest ambience, brown noise and 18 shuffled instrumental tracks across lo-fi, guitar and piano.

Change sounds, pause playback or tap to set the volume during a session. Audio continues through timer pauses and breaks until you stop it or your session ends.

Start without signing in. Study Yaps creates an account on this device and automatically syncs your focus sessions, progress and league activity. Friends and Plus purchases work without an email. Add an email if you want to recover your account and Plus on another device. Add friends by invite code and compare weekly focus minutes. No public discovery or chat.

On Android, allow Usage Access and display over other apps for the app shield. Optional faster shielding uses an accessibility service to detect the foreground app during focus. It does not read screen content or typing. App selections stay on your device.

Free to download with an optional Study Yaps Plus subscription. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically unless cancelled in Google Play subscription settings. Your local price and billing period appear in the app.
