EtCal / Ethiopian Calendar is an app for tracking dates and holidays in the Ethiopian calendar. It also lets you convert dates to and from the Gregorian calendar and view national and public holidays, Ethiopian Orthodox fasts and feasts, Islamic fasting days and holidays (including Ramadan), and regional/cultural festivals along with internationally recognized dates. EtCal also supports events and reminders, with both built-in scheduling and external calendar integrations.

Ratings and reviews

I have been using this app for more than 4 years. It was practical, fast and clear with no error. But the updated one is the opposite. For example today is ቅዱስ ያሬድ but it says ቅዱስ ያሴድ. When you minize and open it again shortly the numbers disappear. The numbering is also confusing. It feels like designed to look attractive but unpractical. I hope you fix it.

Update: Thank you! Incredible support and a quick fix! I’ve used this Ethiopian Calendar for years; it’s truly the best one available. Since the latest update, the app crashes whenever I try to access specific days or holidays. My system shows a "Device care" bug notice. I’m only sharing this because I love the app and want to keep using it! Hope a fix is coming soon. Great work as always, Elias!

After an update, everything is friendly and attractive except one thing. During calculating date difference, it is not easy to go back to Starting date. It needs clicking the back arrow multiple times, which is too tedious. Pls, add options to go directly to the date we want.
