This app is the smartphone version of the online shogi site "81Dojo" (http://81dojo.com) under the patronage of the Japan Shogi Association.
81Dojo is characterized by its unique and advanced functionalities such as the interactive post-game analysis support, very real playing environment including professional byoyomi voice, and the internationalization. Most of those functionalities are copied to this app. 81Dojo stays with you all the time, while you take it with your smartphone to anywhere you go to. Why not take a little break and enjoy some short games at 81Dojo?

Ratings and reviews

I'm not particularly experienced in Shogi, and nor do I have the prowess of even remembering illegal moves (sorry peeps I've played) but I can say that there is definitely some work put forth by the devs of this specific app. There are a couple of minor bugs, in particular one where dialogue boxes and related material will not close at all. Only way to get them out of the way is to select an option such as "Challenge", but pressing the X will not close it.

I really love this game and got really excited to learn there was an app supported by the Japanese shogi society readily available to me. I've been a casual fan for many years and am trying to get better at proper game theory recently. The app can glitch and will sometimes disconnect you in the middle of a match, but that has become more and more rare with time, though can still hurt your in-game rating. Either way, I would highly recommend it to everyone.

it's a self service match making. but at least you're match making. I've played with it and its so complex yet fun. The opponents are respective and nice. the sign ups are kinda looks ng tho. you have to Wait for the management/devs to review your info.
