I've been playing Gems of War for around a year now. In my opinion this is the best phone game I have ever played. :-) I play it daily and haven't gotten tired of it. They are always adding new challenges, also giving you challenges to use troops you wouldn't probably otherwise choose, which is pretty cool. There's so many good things about this game. :-) Edit: The game isn't what it used to be! It's Pay to Play now! Too hard to get good cards or high level anything! I'm so disappointed!

Fantastic game when you are in the actual gameplay. I love it and will continue to play. There's not much of a story, but it's fun enough. But the absurdly messy and confusing user interface and the ridiculous number of different currencies and resources with no easy way to understand how to get them or exchange, or even know how to spend them, takes away a star each. Still one of the best games to ever grace the garbage pile that is the Play Store.

Stopped playing around player level 16. Only being able to level up units every 10 levels is kinda stupid. Trying to beat a lvl 13 team with only level 10 units and getting wrecked. Also, whenever I use an attack that changes tile colors, it ALWAYS sets up the computer for an extra turn and special attack. The mechanics seem to work differently for the computer than they do for the player. Not a fan of unbalanced gameplay that forces you to pay within the first hour of gameplay.
