Good game with potential, which it doesn't use. I think the monster design is a highlight, i can see a lot of love went into them. Overall the graphics have a nice amount of polish to them but despite the enemies they lack heart. The controls for movement are fine. Precise and responsive. But anything else about the controls kills the gameplay for me. You have very little control about when to strike with your weapon. it happens kinda semi automatic, which bores me to death after five minutes. This could be easily fixed by having a 'attack' and maybe a block/parry button on screen or at least a option for that. as it stands, ranged weapons are the only intresting weapons for me, because they let me choose when i want to attack. the charged attacks for melee weapons are abismal in my opinion. you have to press your finger down right there where you least want to have it: above yourself. so for melee i have two choices 1. Run in, let the autopilot do his thing, run away when things go south. 2. Hold my finger above my hero for a charged attack, be blind for a second or two, probably die because of this. Its also weird how this game lacks a sense of progression. it never felt like i was in a place where i shouldnt be. it almost has this quality of these hames which adjust their difficulty depending on your equipment and or stats. it all feels kinda samy. i never feel truly challenged and when i win or loose a fight, it rarely feels like i am responsible for that. There is a potentialy great game here. its just burried underneath some choices which dont click with me...

Very good game but pls update controller support ! Im using the gamesir g4 gamepad, it has exactly the same layout as a xbox controller but the only button usable is Y for block/interact and so on. The rest of the buttons do nothing.
