Way better than anything else I've found. Sometimes have problems pausing and restarting. Could have better tutorial of how to accomplish the exercise instead of just how the buttons work. But through trial and error you'll figure it out. Would be nice to save and return. But overall a well-written program that will help you master steam gauges and HSI's to intercept radials, VOR's and holds. With crosswinds. Highly recommend it. Hope they will keep developing it.

I’ve found the VOR Tracker app to be extremely useful for understanding holding pattern sector entries and hold interpretation, both with and without wind correction. It makes these concepts much easier to visualize and practice. The app significantly reduces the amount of simulator time students need to master holds, which ultimately saves both time and money. I highly recommend it to all of my students and to anyone learning IFR procedures. It’s a very practical and valuable training tool.

I LOVE this app. I am an IR rated atpl pilot and I can honestly tell you that by practicing with this app, keeps my instrument skills sharp and in fact it has increased my confidence to another level to the point that it now takes me only a few seconds at looking at a VOR or RMI instrument and having a full situational awareness of where I am, where I need to go and how to best achieve this. The app is fully flexible and you can even set up your own local procedure to practice those upcoming test
