Music is an art and a science. Music notes, reading sheet music and music theory are some of the vital aspects that a musician should know by heart. Knowing the different scales there are in music is a very important subject too.

A music scale is any set of music notes ordered by fundamental frequency or pitch. There are music scales for jazz music or for rock music. A music scale defines the type of music you are listening.

This app is great for anyone looking for guitar scales. Actually all the scales contained in this app are useful for all music instruments and for anyone interested in singing.

You don´t need much music notation knowledge to use this app. Knowing music notes and what semitones and tones are is enough.

Ratings and reviews

I like the app and its potential. While I don't need to slide the patterns around in order to transpose them, as an educational tool (teacher), the guide implies, one can change keys by moving the Red Dots. I believe the author means a person to do the adjustment in their head and on their guitar. I think the guide should be restated in that regard. Clarification. Otherwise, it's a pretty fair collection of patterns. The root is always C. But the pattern is the same in all the other keys... 🎸

The interface is confusing and unimproved for years. I'd understand the ads as it is free but there's no explanation on how to apply the scales or how it comes to that. Just diagrams. Not very interactive.

Very good. It has a loooot of scales. Anyway I'd like to see different fingerings for each scale or fill all the fretboard with the scale notes and not just a part of it.
