About this app

CAREMINDr is for use by healthcare programs or provider organizations as an information channel to its members / patients, and as means of quick access for users to resources related to their health or the care they may be receiving. There are two categories where it is especially useful:

1) Healthcare programs that encourage members to adopt lifestyle manners that extend wellness and improve health. The app is especially useful for engaging members who inherently rely on mobile devices as their primary means of internet access.

2) Healthcare providers who want their patients to regularly receive information and responsible guidance about specific conditions they are experiencing, whether chronic, periodic, or post-procedure. This is particularly useful for patients and their caregivers that rely on their mobile devices as a means of receiving information.

CAREMINDr also provides 1-click access, using smart phones and tablets, to the online resources that patients and their families need to more fully participate in the programs and support resources offered by their healthcare insurer and/or provider. As directed by the patient's organization, the app provides links to specific pages inside the organization’s website, such as specialty programs for Pregnancy, Men's / Women's Health, and Drug Information. Links may also be made to external sites, particularly those affiliated programs which offer specialized care, such as Smoking Cessation, Weight Management, or Dealing with Depression.

This is an affinity-focused mobile app that can reach the members / patients of a healthcare organization via their cell phone or tablet, so important or time-sensitive information (e.g. immunization alerts) is disseminated more quickly and effectively.

Ratings and reviews

While the covid 19 crisis is keeping us all at home, i really like that my pcp can keep up with my health. I check in once a week and if there's a problem with me i can send my doctor a message and they respond quickly. I am relieved that this app is available for my use.

Sometimes it has errors and takes a long time to send results I don't enjoy taking my blood pressure every day because it's painful and leaves line marks even on a 119 reading.

Why does it need location permission? As if I go anywhere with a bp cuff attached to me. Secondly, once a week tests are hardly anything you should be making important medical decisions on like medication that could kill you if you take it. Needs more like daily.
