Sign language is the term for communicating and understanding with people with hearing and speech problems - deaf and dumb - and it has been used to facilitate communication with people who are deaf and unable to speak.

Significance of sign language:

3- Working to consolidate the foundations of communication between them

Methods of communication in sign language:
There are several ways to communicate through sign language, including:
1- Manual gestures
2- Reading the lips
3- Using the alphabet of fingers

This application is based on a comprehensive presentation of the alphabet of the fingers (Arabic letters) and (indicative numbers) for the individual who is deaf to identify and whoever deals with it to facilitate easy communication and understanding between them.
The application also offers vocabulary from daily life divided according to main themes.
A set of applied exercises has been included to ensure that this language is understood and that its vocabulary is controlled.

Sign language is used:
Hand movements: like fingers to clarify numbers and letters.
Facial expressions: to convey feelings and tendencies. It is combined with hand movements to give compositions of many meanings.
Lip movements: It is an advanced stage of the power of observation as the deaf reads words directly from the lips.
Body movement: such as placing some signs on the shoulders, the top and sides of the head, chest, and abdomen in suggestive use to clarify desires and meanings, in general for self-expression, and they differ from one country to another.
