About this game

CBeebies Storytime introduces children to a world of stories through beautiful, interactive story books. The app aims to inspire a love of stories in every child in the UK and support early years reading.

The stories in the app promote CBeebies’ core values, with themes of inclusivity, sharing, friendship and more. All the stories are free to download, with no in-app purchases.

No Wi-Fi? No problem! Downloaded stories can be read offline and on-the-go, so whether you are at home or out and about, there are no limits! You will need an internet connection to access the library to download new stories or return any you have finished.

Ratings and reviews

When I first got this app I would have given it a 5 but there hasn't been a new story added in over a year. I understand repetition is good for children's learning but a variety is still good. I would LOVE for there to be an introduction of some new stories soon, even if they're based around the same characters. Over all its a good app however

The old app was great, my little girl loved visiting the library to choose books. We loved talking about the stories and seeing what we could remember. This version is less interactive and harder to navigate. We have actually now uninstalled the app. It used to be our favourite, but this format doesn't suit us.

This is quite good but not as good as the previous platform which I'd give 5 stars. There's not much interaction on these stories and a much smaller choice. My kids loved the old version so much they kept enjoying them and are asking if they can have it back :) Especially the story of the mice and the elephants and the ice princess story. Any chance you can transfer /port the old library / content across? :)
