Constant background music This is almost a really great app with interactive stories. Unfortunately there is annoying background music behind all the talking. I think this is bad for my daughter's attention, and for myself I will not tolerate it in the same room as me. I am deleting the app.
Great for little ones. The stories are read to kids so you can have some free time. They learn how to tap and swipe the screen. The quiz at the end check it'd they paid attention and encourage to discuss the story with you. And you can be sure that all the stuff is absolutely safe for kids. Great alternative to printed books.
My granddaughter and I loved Peter Rabbit with the on-screen activities. What is quite unnecessary is the continuous background music which distracts young children from processing the story. Please remove it or make it optional. Otherwise we love storytime!
Absolute joke of an app. Says I'm not connected to Internet WHICH I AM! Thanks for nothing, whoever designed it needs sacking as I now have a disappointed 4 year old. Idiots!
This is why the Government should leave the BBC alone High quality, appropriate, educational app provided by the best broadcasting organisation in the world. Why do the Government want to restrict these aspects of its output?
Great for little ones My daughter loves it she's now 2 and can download her own stories. It's good as it reads the stories to her and is safe to leave her looking at it as there are no adverts. Holds her attention well.
We’ve now added our first NURSERY RHYME to the Storytime app! Join in with Mr Tumble as he sings the popular rhyme, Hey Diddle Diddle. This new update will mean throughout the year you’ll find lots more FUN nursery rhymes in your library, so don’t forget to come back and find new ones!
Enjoy great, free games for kids, on the go with the CBeebies Playtime App!
This app works with BBC websites and apps to play BBC content on your device.
