ISPCORE Technician is the field tool for technicians working at internet service providers that run the ISPCore platform.
This is not an app for subscribers. Accounts are issued by the provider the technician works for, and the app connects to that provider's own server.
▍ MY TICKETS
A technician sees only the tickets assigned to them — urgent ones first, then the oldest, because those have been waiting longest. Each ticket shows the customer, the address, the reported fault and the full history of notes.
When the work is done, the technician reports the intervention: they pick the cause from a fixed list (broken fibre, faulty ONU, connector, weak signal, configuration, power, customer router) and write what was done and what materials were used. The report goes into the ticket history in the same format for every technician, so the numbers actually mean something later.
Closing the ticket is the dispatcher's decision, not the technician's — because the customer may call again tomorrow.
▍ CUSTOMER STATUS
Search by name, PPPoE username or phone number. For each customer:
• Online or offline, at a glance
• Current IP, how long the session has been up, NAS and MAC
• Plan, speed, subscription status and expiry date
• One-tap call, or open the address in maps
▍ OPTICAL EQUIPMENT
ONU serial number, port on the OLT, and the RX signal shown as a bar scaled from -30 to -8 dBm — the technician can see instantly whether it is within range. Plus TX, distance and status.
That means the fault is diagnosed before anyone climbs the pole.
▍ NETWORK MAP
FTTH infrastructure on OpenStreetMap: POPs, cabinets, manholes and poles, with cables coloured by role. From a customer's card you can also follow the fibre trace — which enclosure, which splitter and which port the connection comes from.
▍ MY WORK
How many tickets are waiting, how many are in progress, how many were resolved this week and this month.
▍ SECURITY
The app is read-only apart from tickets. It does not touch billing, does not change configuration and does not reboot equipment.
• Fingerprint or face unlock after the first sign-in
• Token stored in the Android keystore
• Automatic sign-out after 15 minutes of inactivity
• Permissions come from the server — a technician sees only what their role allows
• Every action is logged with the user's name, the time and the IP address
▍ WHAT YOU NEED
An account issued by your internet provider, and a reachable ISPCore server. The server address is set on the sign-in screen.
Without both, the app has nothing to connect to.
