About this app
TapTix KDS is a Kitchen Display System built for restaurants, cafés, and bars on the TapTix platform. It connects directly to your TapTix server and renders orders in real time, helping kitchen staff work faster with fewer mistakes.
KEY FEATURES
• Order-type-aware tickets - header color encodes dine-in, pickup, to-go, online, priority
• Items grouped by course (Primo, Secondo, …) the way the menu is structured
• Modifiers and notes called out in accent red so cooks can't miss them
• Dwell timer with escalating colors - fresh → warn → alert → overdue - with thresholds you can tune
• Tap to bump an item, long-press the footer to bump the whole ticket
• Completed tab with a 30-minute recall window
• Per-station filtering
• All-day item counts sidebar
• Mark items out-of-stock right from the screen
• Live push of new orders.
• Automatic server discovery on the local network

INTEGRATION
TapTix KDS works alongside TapTix POS and the RestoBar backend. Set the server URL from the login dialog or Settings → General, or let the app discover it automatically on your local Wi-Fi.
