About this app

"Leaves of 3, let it be" is a good start, but to reliably and quickly identify poison oak you need images. This app teaches you to tell the difference between poison oak and other similar looking plants; at first you'll make mistakes, but you can repeat the training on all the examples you got wrong. This kind of active learning is much more effective then passively browsing a catalog of poison oak photos.

this really helped me, so I bought the paid version as thanks tho there are enough pictures in the free version that I felt pretty confident I could recognize poison oak just from that.

name isn't exactly accurate, as it doesn't attempt to teach you the difference between plants so you don't learn anything from it. dubious of some of the IDs of poison ivy it made, but regardless I'm now afraid of every plant in my backyard.πŸŒΏπŸ˜“β˜˜οΈ

Frankly this review is insulting and seems to be the product of somebody who can't even read the title of the app. The app teaches Poison OAK not Poison IVY (the two look similar in leaf structure but otherwise quite different).

Good to help kids learn to avoid poison oak. Easy to use. Needs more examples.
