About this app

Turn your website into an Android app with Web2App. Add a URL, choose your app's identity and create APK, Android App Bundle (AAB) and source project files directly on your phone.

MAKE YOUR WEBSITE FEEL AT HOME ON ANDROID
Choose an app name, icon and splash image. Pick a violet, mint, amber or rose accent, then select a light or dark app frame. The live appearance preview shows your app name, color and navigation as you edit.

Your website keeps its own design. Web2App styles the native navigation, loading indicator, splash and offline screens around it.

BUILD THE EXPERIENCE YOU WANT
• Add bottom navigation with three custom titles and website links.
• Enable fullscreen mode or pull to refresh.
• Handle requested website tabs with address, back, reload, close and browser controls.
• Choose in-app tabs or the device browser; unsolicited pop-ups stay blocked.
• Write your own offline message and choose an offline screen style.
• Give visitors a clear loading indicator and a retry button when a page cannot load.

EXPORT APK, AAB AND SOURCE
Create an APK to install and test on Android, an AAB for your publishing workflow, and an Android source project ZIP. Follow build progress in the app, with notification support for background builds. Access saved projects to edit, rebuild, install or share their output files.

PUBLISHING HELP
Follow the in-app Google Play upload guide, share your AAB, and export a permissions CSV from its actual manifest. Includes SDK notes and a build reference. Complete your own listing, Data safety answers and required testing in Play Console.

KEEP YOUR PROJECTS READY FOR UPDATES
Choose a backup folder you control and import Web2App project folders later. Keep the project's signing files: you need the same signing key to update an existing app. Local app storage can be removed when Web2App is uninstalled, so back up before uninstalling.

OPTIONAL FIREBASE PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
Import your Android Firebase configuration and follow the in-app setup guide. After connecting your own sender, compose and preview announcements in Web2App, validate without delivery, and send to your app's subscribers. Recipients choose whether to allow updates; notification links can open a page in the app.

Sending requires your own Firebase project, Cloud Messaging API (V1) enabled and a private service-account JSON key imported in Web2App. Web2App sends directly; no server deployment is needed. Sender access is encrypted on your device and excluded from generated apps and backups. Use a dedicated sending account and keep its key private. Re-import after reinstalling or changing devices. Choose whether your app shows a Notifications header; it is off by default. Push requires internet, Google Play services and recipient permission. Delivery is best effort.

OPTIONAL ADMOB CONFIGURATION
Add your own AdMob app ID and ad-unit IDs to the generated app. Choose banner, interstitial, native or app-open ads, and set the interstitial click frequency. Generated-app ads are optional. Web2App itself contains advertising and uses rewarded ads for certain actions, including building and editing apps.

SUPPORT WEB2APP
Optional PayPal and Buy Me a Coffee links in More let you support continued development.

Web2App creates Android apps that display website content in a WebView. Website content needs a connection; the offline screen is a message and retry screen, not an offline copy of your website. Publishing is a separate step using your developer account and is subject to the store's review.
