The Irish English Translator is designed for quick translations, language learning, school, travel, and everyday communication. It can also be used as a practical dictionary for looking up Irish and English words, sentences, and common expressions.

Offline translation allows you to translate supported content without an internet connection. This can be especially useful while traveling, studying, or when mobile data is unavailable.

In addition to Irish and English, you can select other available languages. The multilingual selection makes it easier to compare translations and learn useful vocabulary in several languages.

Use the built-in phrasebook to find helpful expressions for common situations. Save frequently used translations as favorites and access previously translated words and texts in the history section.

Voice input lets you enter text by speaking, while speech output helps you listen to the pronunciation of translated content. Translations can also be copied or shared with friends and contacts.

The app is suitable for students, tourists, travelers, language learners, and anyone interested in learning or communicating in Irish and English.

Irish, also known as Gaeilge, is an official language of Ireland and is also spoken by Irish-speaking communities in Northern Ireland and other countries.

Please note:

Automatic translations may not always be completely accurate. Important translations should be checked independently, especially for official, medical, legal, academic, or professional use.

Some online translations may be provided by Google Translate. Google does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of translated content.

Very useful, but.... This app is excellent for translation from English to Irish. I rarely use the spoken Irish feature. The voice I just heard speak an Irish sentence was a female English accent. No matter how proficient the speaker is in the Irish language, a native speaker from a Gaeltacht region is best. That said, this is the most straightforward translation app I have used.

A pretty good Translation App as was, has only been Improved on. The "Robot" Voice really tries hard - it's A heck of a lot Better than Mine ! - but that's the main Problem. A Robot can't be expected to use Tone & Inflection in my choice : Irish Gaelic - but at least IT Knows the Word AND the english Translation & vice-versa. Other Apps Can give a Human Voiced translation & pronunciation of Irish Gaelic, but they're either way too Big (on a fone) or too Expensive for "Full Versions" (WHAT ?)

It's been a great help to me as I try to learn Irish. I am able to establish the spelling/ meaning of words - even if some cross-referencing is required. I am less certain about the pronunciation offered though.
