Permissions:
* Location: Required for working with WiFi while setting up an air conditioner and connecting to the home network (the app does not report or send your location).
* Storage: Required for selecting an air conditioner image from the gallery.
* Camera: Required for scanning the air conditioner barcode and for taking a new air conditioner image.
* Microphone: required for voice commands.
The app does not collect or report information from the device that is not related to the operation of the app and the air conditioner.

Ratings and reviews

When it's connected and working it does it's job, but getting it connected is ridiculously and unnecessarily complicated. Millions of the simplest devices can connect easily and seamlessly to all different types of networks. Why is this, my AC that cost me thousands, such a pain. I just upgraded my internet plan, network and router, and am banging my head against a wall. I'm a bit of a novice, so its not intuitive, but absolutely unacceptable connectivity situation for an expensive machine

This app could use some work. I have an issue with mine: When I turn the AC on, the Electra logo at the bottom turns gold, but after a few moments it goes gray again. The AC is still working in this state but if I attempt to change the temperature, it turns itself off. It seems like it loses the connection, but my Wi-Fi is perfectly fine. Other than that, I wish they would implement a few features: 1. The "Light" option from the remote, to disable sounds and turn off the lights. It seems to be there but it's grayed-out and not working. I have it on my remote and it works just fine on it. 2. Give us a basic timer option. Most of the time I just wanna have it shut down in 30 minutes or an hour. I don't wanna check what time it is and set it to shut down at a certain hour. The current timer is good, but a basic one for a quick setup is missing. 3. I'd like to see more buttons on the main screen. Don't wanna have to jump through sub-menus just to change the blades tilt, sleep mode, turbo and the rest.

Configured AC units frequently get disconnected, despite upgrading to latest version and despite having a stable wifi (facing no similar issues from other IOT devices sharing the same network). Sometimes AC connection recovers upon repeated commands, but some other times, it requires a complete unit removal and reconfiguration. This is a very annoying UX and unprofessional release for GA. Also - missing integration with Google Assistant & Alexa for centralized management of smart home devices.
