You can play a hand perfectly and still lose it. Acetique scores the part you control.
Every decision you make — hit, stand, double, split, surrender — is graded against basic strategy the moment you make it, on a real six-deck shoe dealt off the top. Your accuracy and your bankroll are tracked separately and never conflated, so you can watch a run of bad luck happen to a perfectly played session.
THREE WAYS TO TRAIN
Test — play for chips and be scored. The whole chart, no narrowing, and the run goes on your record.
Practice — the same table with nothing at stake, and you can narrow it to one section of the chart.
Learn — no dealing and no settlement, just one decision after another, planned around the cells you have missed or never tried. A drill, or a quiz, depending on how it feels that day.
AN HONEST SHOE
Six decks, 312 cards, shuffled properly and dealt off the top, with a cut card that reshuffles between hands and never mid-hand. No rigged streaks, no rubber-banding. The odds you are playing against are the odds the table actually has.
SEE WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW
A miss heatmap over the whole chart — hard totals, soft totals and pairs — shows exactly which cells you get wrong, and tells a cell you keep missing apart from one you have never tried. Sixteen against a dealer ten is a different problem from a pair of nines you have never been dealt.
THE CHART, ALWAYS TO HAND
6-deck, S17, DAS, late surrender, with H17 overrides. It is computed from the same engine that grades you, so what you're taught and what you're scored on cannot drift apart. It is a coach that cannot contradict the marker, because they are the same code.
PROGRESS WORTH KEEPING
A hundred levels, a hundred awards, weekly seasons and a leaderboard among friends or everyone.
Acetique is free and ad-supported, and it plays for chips. The chips are play money: they have no cash value, cannot be bought, and never cash out — there is no way to turn anything in the app into money. When you run out you can watch a short video for more. Acetique is a training tool for the game of 21, not a casino.
