About this app

Acord is a precise tuner and metronome for every musician. Play a string: the needle shows the note and which way to turn, and each string turns green when it's in tune. Then keep perfect time with a metronome that never drifts, even with the screen locked. No account, no ads.

TUNER
• Chromatic mode for any instrument, or pick one of 32: guitar (6, 7 and 12 strings), bass, ukulele, violin, viola, cello, double bass, mandolin, banjo, bouzouki, bağlama (saz), oud, balalaika, domra, cavaquinho, charango, shamisen, erhu and more
• Alternate tunings: Drop D, DADGAD, open G, D and E, half and full step down, 5-string bass, low G ukulele, bozuk düzen, Arabic and Turkish oud and more
• Finds the string by itself, or tap a string to hear its note and tune to it
• Needle or strobe display with a clear in-tune window
• Reference pitch from 415 to 466 Hz: 440, 442, 432 and anything between
• Reads even the low B of a 5-string bass
• Note names as C D E, Do Re Mi or with H

METRONOME
• 20 to 300 BPM with a big dial, fine steps and tap tempo
• Any time signature, accents on any beat, eighths, triplets and sixteenths
• Six sounds, from a classic click to woodblock and cowbell (two free, four with Premium)
• Speed trainer: the tempo rises every few bars while you play
• Practice timer that stops the metronome when time is up
• Keeps playing with the screen locked and mixes with your music

TONES
• A pitch pipe and drone on any note, with an optional fifth
• Pure tone free; warm and organ sounds with Premium

ALWAYS AT HAND
• Touch and hold the Acord icon to open the tuner or start the metronome
• Stop the metronome right from its notification
• Light and dark mode, 45 languages

ACORD PREMIUM
The chromatic tuner, standard guitar, bass, ukulele and violin tuning, the metronome and the pitch pipe are free with no limits. Premium adds every other instrument and tuning, strobe mode, any reference pitch, accents, triplets and sixteenths, the speed trainer and practice timer, drones with a fifth, and four more metronome sounds plus the warm and organ tones. Plans: weekly or yearly, each with a 3-day free trial, monthly, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled, and you can manage or cancel them anytime in Google Play.

The microphone is used only while the tuner is open, to hear the note. Nothing is recorded, stored or sent.
