About this app
AdvTracker records where you went, so you can look back at it later.
Start a trip before you set off and AdvTracker keeps recording in the background — screen off, phone in a pocket or a tank bag. A permanent notification shows that recording is running, so you always know when it is.
BUILT FOR PLACES WITHOUT SIGNAL
Trips are recorded to your phone first and uploaded afterwards. You can ride for days out of coverage and lose nothing: every point is queued locally and syncs when a connection comes back. Being unsynced is normal, not a failure — the app tells you what is still waiting rather than hiding it.

Your route is drawn live on a map as you record, over OpenStreetMap-derived basemaps. Finish a trip and it is saved with its distance, duration and the full track.

The same account works at advtracker.app, where you can browse your trips on a larger map and share a single trip by link if you want to.

Recording could stop by itself a few minutes after you parked, while the notification still said "Recording". It now notices when fixes stop arriving and gets the GPS back.
Parked trips took readings too rarely to get an accurate fix, so a whole ride could go unrecorded. Fixed — and road it could not see is now shown as a gap, not a straight line.
