My first time leaving a review for an app. its completely unusable. Unable to connect to my self hosted instance (but I can access it through the browser on my phone and on my ipad, riddle me that). Even accessing it through the web browser on my phone its completely useless and won't let you type more than 2 characters before bugging out. Just going to use Obsidian and sync it with syncthing. It should be taken off the play store in this state.

Like others have said, the desktop version of this app is pretty good (and self-hosting it has been great)... but this Android version is completely unusable. It randomly deletes text I type, covers it with the onscreen keyboard, or just backs out of the document altogether. I'm not sure why anyone would release an app in this state, even if it is early access.

I want to love this product but holy cow their apps suck so bad. The web version is usable, but kind of just mostly. I can't get it to run smoothly for very long, so I tried the desktop app. SIKE! You alt+tab over to a different program and come back to a completely white box where the AFFiNE app should be. And the mobile app? What a joke! I can't type a damn thing in it because it scrolls around all over the place. Maybe lay off the AI for a bit and fix your foundation first.
