ROOT or Android 10+ required
Android doesn't usually allow applications to capture the audio of other applications, therefore a 'rooted' Android is required!
On Android 10+ you can stream many apps without root if they support and allow it (eg. Deezer, Amazon Music, TuneIn and more), please try it out.
To stream Spotify you can open the web-player inside 'Mi Browser' or any other browser that supports recording.

Ratings and reviews

Anyone ever got this to work? I know the Zeppelin is notorious to link to with even Apple (with which it was factory designed to link to) but for AirMusic to come along years later you'd assume they'd have worked through those obstacles. Annoyingly, AirMusic seems to keep telling me in Android notifications that its active, at times of it's own choosing. Just an irritating battery drain. Thinking of uninstalling it if can't get any sense out of it soon.

I have used AirAudio to stream BBC Sounds to Sonos speakers since April. Excellent, I wouldn't be without it. Went to download it to a new phone and found it had changed to AirMusic. Sent a email to developer and quickly received a link to redeem it. AirMusic working well on new phone without root, even more excellent.

AirMusic is just amazing. It does exactly what it is intended and designed for. Nowadays this is not common. I can stream everything I want, from whatever application to whatever audio device I can imagine. It supports DLNA, AirPlay, Sonos, Chrome cast and others. What's more I can send audio stream to more devices ending up f.i. playing identical music in two rooms. It even remotely switches the affected device from standby to on state. It is literally excellent. Well deserved 5 stars. A-grade
