A tool designed for students, teachers, and braille transcribers who need to quickly consult the shorthand representation of words in Spanish.
The application includes the representation of words with one or more signs, based on Technical Document B16: Spanish Shorthand (Version 1, 2019) from the Spanish Braille Commission.
To find a word, there are four ways to search, depending on what is most convenient for you at any given time:
🎤 Pressing the microphone and saying or spelling the word
🎤 Pressing the microphone and saying the numbers that make up the abbreviated word
⌨️ Typing it with the on-screen keyboard
📋 Searching for it directly in the list of included words
When the word is found, the assistant provides a voice prompt indicating the number of cells and the braille dots present in each cell, facilitating understanding without needing to look at the screen.
Accessibility
The application is fully compatible with TalkBack, allowing its complete use by people with visual impairments.
