About this app

AssetBolt is IT asset management for the moment you are standing in front of the asset.

Point your phone at a printed label and act — check a laptop out to a new hire, check it back in, move it to another room, or flag it as broken — without typing a serial number by hand. AssetBolt Mobile is the companion app to the AssetBolt web platform, for IT teams who already track hardware, software and licences in AssetBolt and need to work from the floor instead of from a desk.

REQUIRES AN ASSETBOLT ACCOUNT
This is a business tool for teams already using — or trialling — AssetBolt's IT asset management platform. It is not a general-purpose inventory app: you sign in with your organisation's AssetBolt account, using an emailed code, Google, or Microsoft. Plans and pricing are at assetbolt.app/pricing.

SCAN TO ACT
Scan a QR or barcode label and get the asset's record instantly — who has it, where it lives, what condition it is in, and when it is due back — with the actions you are allowed to take on it right there: check out, check in, set location, report broken, mark repaired, or start an audit.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Assign a laptop to a new hire or reclaim it from someone leaving, right as you hand it over. Custody is recorded as you go.

PHYSICAL AUDITS
Pick a location, walk it, rapid-scan everything you can see, and reconcile it against what AssetBolt expects to be there. Assets come back as found, missing, in the wrong location, or unexpected — and you can move a stray asset to where you actually found it as you review.

WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL
Server rooms, basements and warehouses do not have bars. Check-ins, check-outs, location changes, repair updates and whole audit sessions are stored on the device and sent when you are back online — and a retry never records the same action twice. A sync screen shows what is still waiting and what needs a decision from you.

BULK CHECK-IN
Offboarding a team or clearing out a room: scan several assets in a row and check them all back in as one pass.

PHOTOS
Attach a photo to an asset from the camera or your gallery — condition on return, damage, a serial plate that is hard to read.

ALERTS
Get notified when something needs you: an asset assigned to you, an overdue check-in, an expiring licence or warranty. Notifications can be turned off for this device at any time.

FOR EMPLOYEES, TOO
If your organisation gives its people access, employees can sign in to see exactly what is assigned to them — no operator role required.

ALSO IN THE APP
Search assets by name, asset tag or serial number. Open an asset or a location for the full picture. Add a new asset. Switch between organisations. Sign out sessions on devices you no longer have.

English, German, Spanish, French and Brazilian Portuguese.

PRIVACY
