Aurora Control: Quick Panel puts a customizable glass quick settings panel one swipe away in any app. Swipe from the screen edge to open toggles, brightness and volume sliders, media controls, screen recording and your chosen app shortcuts. Swipe again to dismiss it.

THE CONTROLS YOU ACTUALLY USE
Pick eight from Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile data, torch, camera, hotspot, VPN, Nearby Share, sync, auto-brightness, silent mode, Do Not Disturb, rotation lock, screen mirroring, battery, alarm, calculator, screenshot and screen recording. Put them in the order you want, and give each one a size: a round button, a wide pill with a label, or a large card. Add any installed app as a shortcut so it opens straight from the panel.

SLIDERS AND MEDIA
Brightness and volume as tall vertical sliders you can hit without looking. A media tile that shows what is playing and gives you previous, play and next.

YOUR GESTURE, YOUR EDGE
Choose where the panel opens from: the top-right corner, the bottom edge, or the middle of the left or right edge. Then choose how big that catch area is — small stays out of the way, large is easiest to hit. The mid-screen edges are the least likely to clash with Android gesture navigation.

SCREEN RECORDING BUILT IN
Record the screen straight from the panel, with resolution, bitrate and frame rate you set yourself, and your voice from the microphone if you want it. The app shows you roughly how many megabytes a minute your settings cost before you start. Recordings go to your Movies folder.

GLASS, TWO WAYS
Frosted gives a soft opaque panel. Clear glass gives a thin translucent surface with a reflective rim and real background blur on Android 12 and up.

PERMISSIONS, HONESTLY
• Display over other apps is required. Without it there is no panel at all.
• Modify system settings unlocks the brightness slider and rotation lock.
• Notification access unlocks the media controls.
• Do Not Disturb access unlocks that one tile.
• Aeroplane mode cannot be toggled by a normal Android app. It needs a one-time grant from a computer over ADB, or from Shizuku. The app copies the exact command for you. If that is not for you, skip that tile — everything else works without it.

THREE PAGES, ONE SWIPE APART
Swipe up and down inside the panel: your own tiles and the sliders, a media page with room for artwork and buttons you can actually hit, and the full connections panel. Dots on the right edge show where you are, and one button puts the whole layout back to default.

PAUSE IT FOR A MOMENT
Switch the edge swipe off while you play or watch, and switch it back on from the notification. Your settings stay exactly as they were.

IT TELLS YOU WHEN YOUR PHONE STOPS IT
Some phones shut down background apps on their own. Aurora Control: Quick Panel says so plainly instead of just looking broken, and walks you to the battery and auto-start settings for your brand.

TUNE THE SWIPE
Set how far you have to swipe before the panel opens, and light up the swipe zones on screen to see exactly where they sit.
