LIVE DATA, NOT BOOK VALUES

AutoEdge pulls retail listings directly from the Auto.dev Vehicle Listings API, decodes VINs against NHTSA's vPIC database, and cross-references the federal recalls feed. Your numbers come from real cars currently for sale near you, not stale tables.

PRIVACY FIRST

Your account, history, and service log are tied only to your Google sign-in, encrypted in transit, and stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. No location data is collected beyond a coarse ZIP code for comp searching. Export or fully delete your data anytime from Settings — every byte gets wiped, no questions asked. What’s new

VIN scanning now works when you hold the phone sideways.

Leaning into a door jamb and turning the phone 90° used to produce a rotated photo the VIN reader couldn't read, so the decode failed. AutoEdge now captures the plate right-side up no matter how you're holding the phone, and takes a second read from the live preview if the first pass comes up empty. Straight-on scans are unchanged.
