About this app

Avila helps Catholic couples who are dating or engaged grow in their relationship and prepare for the sacrament of marriage.

Both partners need to download Avila and pair their accounts to get started. Built for couples who take their faith seriously, Avila provides tools rooted in Catholic teaching to help you understand each other more deeply, communicate more honestly, and discern God's plan for your relationship together.

HOW IT WORKS

Both partners download Avila and create an account. Pair with your partner using a simple code or QR scan. Once paired, Avila guides you through your journey together.

SCREENING QUESTIONS
Each week, you and your partner independently answer questions about values, faith, family, and life together. When your answers align, you celebrate. When they don't, Avila provides personalised guidance grounded in Catholic teaching — drawing from Scripture, the Catechism, Theology of the Body, and the wisdom of the Saints — to help you understand the difference and grow closer.

RELATIONSHIP INVENTORIES
Take guided assessments covering attachment style, communication, conflict resolution, love languages, values, and more. See your individual results and how you complement each other as a couple.

AI-POWERED SPIRITUAL REFLECTIONS
After each inventory, receive a personalised reflection written in the voice of a Catholic spiritual director — affirming your strengths, gently naming areas for growth, and suggesting concrete next steps rooted in faith.

YOUR RELATIONSHIP ROADMAP
A personalised, faith-informed plan covering communication, prayer life, finances, family planning, and marriage preparation — updated as you complete more assessments together.

DAILY HOME SCREEN
Birthday and anniversary celebrations, daily saint, conversation starters at five depth levels (from Discovery to Discernment), and "Did You Know" cards about your relationship.

PRIVACY FIRST
Your relationship is private. Your data is never sold or shared. You can export or permanently delete everything at any time. Responses are processed by AI (Anthropic) solely to generate your reflections — never stored by the AI provider.

Avila is named after St. Teresa of Ávila, Doctor of the Church, whose writings on prayer and the interior life continue to guide souls toward deeper union with God and with one another.
