Azimut GPS tells you when your satellite position is being spoofed or jammed, and keeps a record of where you really were.
⚠️ Before you install: supplying a corrected position to OTHER navigation apps requires a one-time setup in Android Developer options. Everything else — detection, alerts, trip history — starts working as soon as you allow location, which is the only permission it needs.
WORKS RIGHT AWAY
• Real-time detection of GPS spoofing and jamming
• Your satellite position continuously compared with independent network positioning
• Clear status: is the signal honest, jammed, or faked right now
• Trip recording with the spoofed stretches marked in red on the map
• Automatic background protection while walking, cycling or driving
• Location sharing with people you choose, for as long as you choose
• Enhanced mode: switch it on, and the backup position becomes noticeably more precise
NEEDS A ONE-TIME SETUP (about 5 minutes, guided step by step)
• Feeding the corrected position into Google Maps and other navigation apps
Android only lets an app provide location to other apps if you select it in Settings → Developer options → "Select mock location app". That is a platform restriction, not our choice. Azimut opens the right screen for you, checks every step, and tells you exactly what is still missing. You can switch it off again at any time, in the same place.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING JAMMING
Azimut does not repair a jammed satellite signal — nothing installed on a phone can. What it can do is notice that the signal is wrong, tell you, and keep navigation usable from independent sources while the interference lasts.
YOU STAY IN CONTROL
Background protection is optional and can be changed or turned off in Settings. Azimut asks for precise and background location only for navigation protection, trip recording and the features you switch on. Enhanced positioning is optional. Your trips stay on your device unless you sign in to sync them.
IMPORTANT
Accuracy depends on device hardware, Android services, network availability and local signal conditions. Azimut is not an emergency or safety service and cannot guarantee uninterrupted or exact positioning. Always follow local laws, road signs and safe driving practices.
ABOUT THE WI-FI PERMISSION
Azimut needs it only to scan for nearby networks — that scan is what keeps navigation going when GPS cannot be trusted. The app never connects to a network, never changes your connections and never reads your traffic. Android's own label for this permission is broader than what the app actually does.
