BinaryPaper turns your files and notes into printable pages of QR codes, creating a physical backup of your digital data. The QR codes contain your actual data, not links to files stored online. Your backups work offline, can include redundancy to tolerate damaged or missing codes, and can be protected with a password. If your digital copies are lost, simply scan the printed pages with BinaryPaper to reconstruct the original files or text.
CREATE A PAPER BACKUP
• Choose a file or text note, or combine multiple files and folders with PRO.
• Configure your backup's reliability and optionally calibrate BinaryPaper for your printer and scanning device.
• Add optional password protection to keep your backup private.
• Print the generated PDF, save it for later, or share it for printing elsewhere.
• Verify your printed backup by scanning it and checking the restored content.
RESTORE WHEN YOU NEED IT
• Scan the printed QR codes with your device's camera.
• Thanks to built-in redundancy, BinaryPaper can recover your data even when some printed codes are damaged or missing. You may not need to scan every code.
• Save or share your restored files and text.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Backup creation, camera frames, passwords, and restored content are processed on your device and are not uploaded by BinaryPaper. The core backup and recovery workflow works entirely offline. No cloud account or internet connection is required to create or restore your backups.
OPTIONAL PRO
Restoring a compatible BinaryPaper backup is always free and does not require a purchase. A one-time PRO purchase unlocks larger backup creation, multiple files and folders, manual controls, additional paper formats, and multiple calibration profiles. Google Play Billing requires an internet connection to process or restore purchases.
IMPORTANT
BinaryPaper cannot reset a forgotten backup password. Keep your password separately from the printed pages. Anyone holding an unprotected backup can read its contents.
