About this game

A quiet number puzzle about pairing two numbers that are equal, or that add up to ten. Instead of a stark white background and saturated colours, everything is painted in warm paper tones and a muted botanical palette — easier on your eyes late at night and through long sessions.

• Turn on number colours and 1 to 9 each get an ink, so the one you want is easier to find

■ Two lines of rules
• Match two numbers that are equal, or that add up to 10
• A pair must be neighbours across, down or diagonally — or follow each other in reading order
• Cells already cleared are stepped over, so the board opens up as you play it
• A row with nothing left on it disappears
• Every match draws the line between the two cells, so you can see why they paired

• A hint points at two cells you can match right now
• Add copies every number still on the board to the bottom, in order
• Undo and redo step back and forth a move at a time

What’s new

Two new modes.
• Drop — a matched pair leaves the board and the numbers above it fall into the gap.
• Drop+Chain — a number that lands touching one it pairs with is taken with it, and the fall that leaves sets off the next link.
A mode now picks how the board moves rather than how many adds you get, and all three share the same allowance. Zen is retired as part of that change.
Changing the mode or the size now asks before it throws away the board you are on.
