Boletik helps you choose WHERE and WHEN to go mushroom hunting.
Not a map of secret spots, not an identification guide: a forecasting tool. Boletik combines real-time weather data (rain, temperatures, soil temperature) with terrain information (forest, tree species, soil type, altitude, exposure) to identify the most promising areas around you, species by species.
🍄 Five species, five models — porcini, chanterelle, hedgehog mushroom, saffron milk cap, and morel. Each has its own trees, soil type, and season: when you switch species, the areas change.
🗺️ Areas rated out of 100 — around your current location or a specific place you're looking for (town, lake, summit). When it's too dry or too cold, Boletik tells you straight up.
🌳 The Why, Not Just a Number — for each area: the wood rating, the best time, the day-by-day hunting window, and the biotope analysis (recent rainfall, soil, forest, terrain).
✅ Found or Nothing — one action after your outing, and Boletik verifies it in the field. Your personal record is built up with each outing.
🔒 Your Privacy First — your spots remain encrypted on your phone. Boletik never records your exact location, and there is no public ranking of your spots.
⚠️ IMPORTANT — READ CAREFULLY
Boletik is a predictive decision-making tool. It NEVER identifies mushrooms and NEVER indicates whether a mushroom is edible or poisonous. Each entry reminds you of dangerous look-alikes, but never consume a mushroom based solely on this application. If in doubt, have your harvest validated by a pharmacist or a mycological society. Picking wild mushrooms carries a risk of serious, potentially fatal poisoning. You are solely responsible for what you pick and consume.
Boletik is a prediction, not a guarantee. Growth retains an element of chance.
Porcini, chanterelles, morels: where and when to look, depending on the actual weather.
