Gallowmere runs on one machine: the Grand Switchboard, four districts of brass terminals wired to every lamp in the city. Tonight the night foreman hands you the key and walks out. You are the Lampwright now.
BoltPuzzle is a pure reflex game. A terminal lights amber and a ring starts closing around it — strike it before the ring runs out. Hit it early and you score more. String clean strikes together and the multiplier climbs. Miss one and a filament burns.
Then the red terminals start showing up. Those are overloaded, and your hands will want to hit them anyway. Leaving them alone is the whole skill.
WHAT YOU GET
• 24 shifts across four districts — Boiler Row, the Copper Ward, the Aether Spire and the Tesla Crown. The window shrinks, the board fills, the overloads multiply.
• A chain multiplier up to 5x for consecutive clean strikes.
• Three pieces of shift gear you buy mid-run with Sparks: Steam Brake slows the whole board for eight seconds, Ward Coil soaks your next burnout, Arc Sweep strikes every live terminal at once.
• A Workshop of permanent upgrades — a longer reaction window, extra filaments, a bigger score multiplier, a ward fitted before you start. Four tracks, three tiers each.
• 13 accolades tied to what you actually do on the board: flawless shifts, a 30-strike chain, clearing a whole district, taking a track to its final tier.
• A daily ration of 55–145 Sparks and a streak worth keeping.
• Three stars per shift, one for finishing and the rest for finishing clean.
ONE CURRENCY, EARNED
Sparks come out of the board and go back into the board. Nothing is for sale, there are no ads, no energy timers and no "watch a video to continue".
NO SIGNAL NEEDED
Play it on a train or in airplane mode. There's no account, and progress is saved on the device.
ACCESSIBILITY
Reduced flash calms the burst effects and stills the scenery. High-contrast terminals give each state its own outline weight so the board reads without relying on colour. The chain readout can be switched off if you would rather just watch the board.
Single tap. No swiping, no dragging, no tilting. Just how fast you can tell amber from red.
Keep Gallowmere lit.
