About this app

Bookinea Access turns your Android phone or tablet into a fast, reliable access-control terminal for events. Scan QR tickets at the door, record entries and exits, and see at any moment who is inside — all with no training required for your door staff.

Bookinea Access is the companion scanning app for the Bookinea ticketing platform. It is used by event organisers and their staff, and requires a Bookinea account with an active Econtrol integration. It is not intended for guests.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
Scan in under a second with native camera scanning, and the torch switches on automatically at dark entrances. Run entry-only doors or track exits too, with live occupancy for each section. Results are unmistakable: valid, revoked, locked, too early, already inside and more, each shown with colour and haptic feedback. Work the full ticket list by searching and filtering every ticket in your section, and record an entry by hand when a code won't scan. Use as many devices as you need — each one is tied to a location, event and section, and stays in sync with the server. At the end of a show, clear a section in one step.

SET UP IN MINUTES
Get your setup code from the Econtrol integration in Bookinea, scan it (or type it in), then choose your location, event and section. Hand the device to your door staff — every scan appears in Bookinea immediately.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
No advertising, no analytics, no third-party tracking. The camera is used only to read QR codes — no photos or videos are stored or transmitted.

REQUIREMENTS
A Bookinea account with an active Econtrol integration, and an internet connection.
