Build Phaze: Home Renovation

About this app

Build Phaze is a renovation planner. It plans the job the way it actually gets built: one connected plan that knows what has to happen before what.

KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Next shows what you can start today, what is waiting on something, and what needs a decision from you. "Who's doing this task?" and "No price yet" come to you, with the project they belong to, so nothing sits unanswered.

ONE PLAN, ROOM BY ROOM
See the whole job at once, or drop into a single room. Each level adds its budget up to the one above.

BUILD ORDER, NOT A CALENDAR
Build Phaze knows the plumbing has to be chased into the slab before the floor goes down, and that the floor has to cure before the cabinets go in. No dates needed: just the real dependencies, and a critical path that shows what holds up what.

KNOW WHAT'S SAFE TO CUT
When the budget runs over, Build Phaze ranks what you can drop by what it would cost to do later, not by what is cheapest now. It shows what else depends on the thing you are about to cut, and it keeps every cut so you can bring it back with one tap.

COMPARE QUOTES, SIDE BY SIDE
Log every quote for a job and see them against your own estimate. Accept one and Build Phaze offers to update the task's cost.

FIND THE RIGHT TRADE
Your contacts, ranked by their own job history: on time, on budget, quick with quotes, few flags.

DO IT YOURSELF, AND SEE WHAT IT SAVED
Mark a task DIY and Build Phaze prices what a trade would have charged, with a running total across your properties.
Doing a lot of the work yourself? Your own tasks sit in the same plan as the trades', so the renovation planner keeps the whole job in order.

MATERIALS AND A SHOPPING LIST
Split what you are buying, what the trade supplies and what you leave to them, with a shopping list that stays in step.

BEFORE, AFTER AND EVERY SNAG
Photos tied to the work that produced them, with snags flagged right on the picture.

LIGHT AND DARK
Easy on the eyes on site and after dark.

BACK UP THE WHOLE JOB
Export your renovation as one file, photos and documents included, and restore it whenever you need to.

Build Phaze is the renovation planner for people running their own job: the trades, the order of the work, the quotes and the costs, in one place.

What’s new

Build Phaze 1.1. See your plan before you sign up.

Answer a few questions and watch your plan build, with a timeline you can open job by job. Adding a property, project or phase is a short set of questions too. Asking a trade for a quote is guided: change the message before you send it, keep every revised quote, and accept or decline from the request. Plan and Progress show what's committed against your budget, and Back takes you up one level at a time.
