About this app

Glimmer connects you with a random stranger for a one-on-one, anonymous text chat. No sign-up and no profile to fill in. There is no photo sharing.

How it works
• Tap the rings and Glimmer looks for another person to chat with in English.
• Say hello and see where the conversation goes. You or your partner can leave at any time.
• If no one is around and AI chat is available, you can choose to chat with an AI character instead. AI chats are labeled "AI" on screen: you're talking with an AI character, not a real person.

Safety
• Messages are checked automatically, and messages that break the rules may not be sent.
• You can report or block anyone from the chat menu.
• Never share personal details or contact information.
• Chat messages are kept for 48 hours after they are sent. When a chat is reported, a copy of the conversation is kept for 90 days from the report so it can be reviewed. See the privacy policy for backups and service providers.

Good to know
• Glimmer is only for adults 18 and over.
• Your first AI chat each day starts without an ad. After that, you can start another one by watching a rewarded ad.
• Ads or AI chat may not always be available.
• Glimmer shows ads.
