About this app
The primary goal of Campus is to be a 'students-only' social network that can facilitate your entire student life! It is exclusively available to students with a valid email address from a Flemish university or college in Ghent, Leuven, Antwerp and Hasselt.
It contains (among other things): associations and events you can join, an overview of study locations and even a digital student codex! The app also makes suggestions for what might be a good fit for you, depending on your behavior and location.
Unlike traditional social media, you don't have to open our app all the time and scroll through a feed. Whenever something relevant happens, you get a push notification.
All kinds of associations are on Campus, ranging from the classic student club that organizes cantuses to associations that revolve around a specific hobby or interest. Associations have a president and admins and can organize events. They can also send a general push notification to the members for quick communication.
We want to make sure that you are only informed about things that interest you. That's why we ask you every now and then what interests you. We use interests to suggest events, places to eat and drink, associations and, if you want, even new friends.
We want to help you enrich your student life by connecting with people. But you do this 'face to face'. To make a connection, you scan a person's QR code when you are physically together. Then you can chat and share things with each other. No more friend requests!
Currently only available in Ghent, Leuven, Hasselt and Antwerp for students with an email address from UGent, HOGENT, Artevelde, LUCA, KUL, UCLL, KdG, AP, Odisee, PXL, UHasselt, Thomas More or UAntwerpen.
