ChargeReport documents how much electricity a company car has charged at a home wallbox—month by month—in a report that the employer can use for tax-free reimbursement of the charging costs.

HOW THE APP WORKS

1. Connect the wallbox. The app retrieves charging data from the wallbox manufacturer's cloud or via OCPP. No reading, no notes.

2. Categorize charging sessions. If the option is enabled, the app notifies you and confirms each charging session as business or private—including the mileage and, if desired, a photo of the odometer.

3. Receive a report. Once automatic reporting is enabled, the previous month's report is available as a PDF at the beginning of the next month—including the date, time, and kilowatt-hours of each individual charge.

WHAT THE APP CAN DO

• View charging sessions from your own wallbox, sorted by month

• From the notification, categorize a charge as business or private, including mileage and a photo of the odometer

• Open, save, and share the monthly report as a PDF

• Receive notifications when the report is complete, when the wallbox stops transmitting data, or when a confirmation is missing

• Distinguish between multiple RFID cards connected to a single wallbox

• For business customers: Employee number and company assignment for payroll export

• Export your own data and delete your account

SUPPORTED WALLBOXES

The following are supported: Easee, go-eCharger, Sungrow, GoodWe, Charge Amps, myenergi Zappi, Zaptec, V2C Trydan, Wallbox Pulsar/Commander, and Ohme, as well as any wallbox that supports OCPP 1.6 or 2.0.1. For models without an interface, a separate electricity meter can be connected.

WHO IS IT FOR?

For company car drivers with a private charging point and for fleet managers who want to properly bill their employees' charging costs.

LANGUAGES

The interface adapts to the phone's language: German, English, Dutch, French, Spanish, Swedish, Norwegian, and Chinese.

DATA PROTECTION

Our servers are located in the EU: the application in Frankfurt am Main, the database in Stockholm. The app does not use any advertising networks or third-party measurement tools. Only the data required for documentation and billing is collected: charging sessions, license plate number, mileage, a voluntary tachograph photo, as well as personal data and bank details. A device identifier is sent to Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications, and card payments are processed by Stripe. Account data and reports can be exported at any time, and the account can be deleted directly in the app.

NOTE

The app displays the data of an existing ChargeReport account. Employees of a corporate client receive their invitation via email from their employer.

ChargeReport does not replace tax advice. The employer decides whether and to what extent reimbursement is made.
