About this app

**A feint to one side, a covert maneuver to the other:** Chencang is an end-to-end encrypted private chat tool. Every sentence you write becomes encrypted text before leaving your device; only the person you've paired with can restore it to its original form.

【Differences from ordinary chat tools】 Chencang doesn't handle communication. It doesn't build servers, connect to the backend, or know who you sent your messages to—your messages are encrypted and shared by yourself via the system or by copying and pasting to any chat software you usually use. The recipient restores the message in one step within Chencang.

This means: no server stores your conversations, including ours. Because there simply isn't such a server.

【Pair once, worry-free afterwards】
· Complete pairing by scanning a QR code face-to-face or sending an invitation code.

· After pairing, both parties see the same set of emoticons—verifying their consistency confirms there was no third party involved.

· Employs X25519 key negotiation and a double ratchet protocol, using a new key for each message. Even if one key is taken, all previous and subsequent messages remain secure.

· No registration required, no phone number or email binding

· Does not access your contacts; you name your contacts yourself.

· No background reporting; text messages are never connected to the internet.

· The key is generated on your device and never leaves your device.
