About this app

Cikgu.App is a marking companion for teachers. Register your classes, describe
the shape of each examination once, then work down a stack of scripts with a
keypad built for a thumb — while you are looking at paper, not at the screen.

CLASSES AND STUDENTS
• Create a class — "5 Ibnu Sina", 2026 — and register the students who sit in it.
• Keep each student's examination index number alongside their name.

EXAM PAPERS, DESCRIBED THE WAY THEY ARE SET
• An examination runs any combination of Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3, and you
set what each is worth.
• Paper 1 is the objective paper: a question count, A–C, A–D or A–E options, and
its own answer key. Keys never collide between subjects or years.
• Papers 2 and 3 are built from sections and subsections. Key in what each part
is worth and the section total is worked out for you, so the two can never
disagree.
• A share goes in the way a marking scheme actually reads: type 40/120 rather
than working out that it comes to 33.33%.
• Where students answer 1 of 2 questions, put those questions in a choice. The
section is worth what a student can actually reach, not the sum of everything
printed.
