Citixen is your municipality's citizen participation platform.
A new way to connect with your city: see what projects are underway, share your opinion on decisions that affect you, and support the initiatives you want to see move forward.
WHAT YOU CAN DO ON CITIXEN
— Learn about all the public projects in your city, their current status, and who is leading them.
— Participate in consultations opened by your municipality. Your opinion goes directly to decision-makers.
— Propose ideas. If you feel a change is urgent, you can write about it, and other residents can support it.
— See updates, photos, and real evidence of the progress of your city's projects. No empty promises: what's been done is shown.
— Join citizen initiatives: volunteering, in-kind donations, and neighbor coordination. No intermediaries.
CIVIC CREDITS — WHEN YOUR MUNICIPALITY ACTIVATES THEM
In cities that adopt the Civic Credits system, every time you pay your taxes, you receive Civic Credits in the app. These credits represent your decision-making power: you choose which social projects to allocate part of the public budget to.
— When a project reaches its goal, the municipality transfers the funds to the organization or citizen carrying it out.
— The entire process is public and auditable. You know where every peso went.
FOR ALL CITIZENS
We operate in two modes depending on your municipality:
— Community Mode: transparency, consultations, proposals, and initiatives.
Available to any city that joins.
— Civic Credits: adds the ability to finance social projects with your civic budget. Available where the municipality enables it.
WHY DOES CITIXEN EXIST?
Most citizens don't know what happens to their taxes. And
most municipalities lack the tools to listen to their
residents between elections. Citixen bridges that gap. It doesn't replace the
government: it connects it with the people who elected it.
PRIVACY AND CONTROL OF YOUR DATA
— Your personal data is not shared with third parties.
— You can delete your account at any time from the app.
— We don't show who supports each project: the system is anonymous by
default. Only the vote counts are visible.
— We comply with the Argentine Personal Data Protection Law (Law 25.326).
