About this app

A good and fair substitution schedule, without the hassle of puzzling.

Who stands where, who goes to the bench when, and is everyone getting enough playing time? CoachHelpr creates the proposal for the entire match and keeps track of playing time. All you have to do is coach.

Coaching together
• Invite your co-coach via email or QR code.
• You use the app simultaneously, each on your own phone, with the same lineup, clock, and score.
• What one person records appears immediately with the other. This way, one person makes substitutions while the other records the goals.

Before the match
• A proposal for the entire match: who stands where and who substitutes when, with fair playing time for everyone.

• You adjust what you want to change. What you select yourself stays put.

• Substitute by line or by position, with the substitution time you choose.

• Choose the playing system, playing time, goalkeeper, and captain for each match.

• Check off your preparation in four steps: attendance, match, lineup, and substitution schedule.

During the match
• The app counts down to the next substitution and gives a notification 1 to 5 minutes in advance, even if your phone is locked.

• If everything goes according to schedule, you don't need to do anything. If someone drops out, the app reschedules the rest of the match.

• Record goals, assists, cards, and injuries while the match is in progress. The score tracks accordingly.

• You can see the time until the next substitution on your lock screen, and the app allows you to turn off notifications during the match.

• Large buttons, even with gloves or large letters on your phone.

• Explain what needs to be changed on the coaching board during halftime. Slide your players, the opponent, and the ball, and draw arrows. Your lineup remains unchanged.

Sharing with parents and teammates
• Share the match with a single link in the group chat. Whoever has the link can see the lineup with first names, the score, and the progress, without needing an account.

• Have a parent keep track of the score via their own link. • Type a short report after the match. It is available via the same link.

After the match and over the season
• Check if it went exactly as planned. If it is correct, one tap is enough.
• Didn't use match mode? Enter the match afterwards.
• For each player, you can see their playing time over the season and whether they played in a favorite position, plus goals, assists, cards, and attendance.
• This way, you can see who has been playing the least for weeks, before anyone brings it up.

Your team is listed in no time
• Do you coach hockey? Select your club and your team, and the match schedule and league standings will appear immediately. For many clubs, you can also retrieve your players and cancellations.
• Do you coach football or a team without a schedule? Then you enter your players and matches yourself.

Three things you can count on
• You decide. The app makes a suggestion and warns you if something goes wrong.
• Approximately is good enough. A minute more or less doesn't matter; a whole season off track does. • It’s about your players. We only store what is necessary for the lineup and playing time. Injuries and notes are never included on the shared link.

CoachHelpr works on Android phones and tablets, for hockey and football. The app works online, so you and your fellow coach see exactly the same thing.
