Redact, watermark, encrypt, share. Colshare blacks out what others need not see, watermarks the copy of your ID card or passport, keeps your documents encrypted on your phone and shares them by a link that opens once. It fills in PDF forms too. For renting a flat, opening a bank account or starting a job.
Every copy names who it's for. If it ever turns up where it shouldn't, you'll know whose copy it was.
WATERMARK YOUR ID CARD OR PASSPORT
Say who the copy is for and what for. Colshare finds the document number, the machine-readable <<< lines and your personal number on the picture and proposes boxes over them; black out anything else with a box, and check the copy before you send it. The watermark “COPY · For: … · purpose · date” is burned into the picture and repeated across all of it, so it is hard to crop away. Front and back go on one A4 page, ready to print or send.
REDACT ANY DOCUMENT
Payslips, bank statements, contracts: Colshare looks for account, card and ID numbers and your own details and proposes boxes over them. Keep or drop each box, draw more, or black out a word everywhere at once. You check every page; the redacted copy is read again before it is kept, and the original stays as it was.
SECURE DOCUMENT STORAGE, ON YOUR PHONE ONLY
Scan documents to PDF with your phone's document scanner, or add photos and PDFs, and keep them in folders. They are encrypted on this phone, behind your fingerprint or a PIN. No account, no sign-up. Your documents are kept only on this phone; a link's encrypted copy waits on our server until it is opened, 7 days at most. Save an encrypted backup file wherever you choose.
SHARE DOCUMENTS BY A ONE-TIME LINK
Choose documents or a whole folder and make a link. The papers are encrypted before they leave your phone; the key is only in the link, so we cannot read them. If you have Colshare e-mail the link for you, the link, key included, passes through our server and our e-mail provider. The link opens once, and the app shows when it was opened. The papers are deleted from our server when it is opened, or after 7 days at the latest.
A COPY THAT CAN BE CHECKED
Every safe copy carries a code under its pages. Scanned, it says who the copy was made for, what for and when; the PDF itself, opened at colshare.app/v, also shows whether it was changed since. Each send leaves a receipt on your phone.
REQUEST DOCUMENTS FROM ANYONE
Need papers from someone? Send them a link. They add photos or PDFs from their phone, without the app, and only your phone can open what they send. Ready-made lists (renting, a bank account, a job; France and Germany) say which papers may be asked for, with their sources.
MRZ READER FOR PASSPORTS AND IDS, PDF FILLER
Colshare reads the machine-readable zone (MRZ, ICAO 9303) of ID cards and passports that have them, from any country, on the phone, without internet. A field is marked as checked only when the document's own check digits prove it. Colshare then fills PDF forms from your ID and About me; you check each field and fill in the rest.
FREE, AND A PLAN WITHOUT LIMITS
Safe and blacked-out copies, filled forms, receipts, asking for papers and receiving them are free. On the free plan you keep 10 papers and 1 folder, send 3 links a month and read 1 ID card or passport on request; the reading each safe copy makes is free. The paid plan lifts every limit, yearly or monthly, through Google Play; there is no trial that turns into a charge and no ads. If you stop paying, nothing you keep is held back; only adding more stops at the free limits.
Good to know: banks and notaries may be required by law to see your whole document. If you uninstall Colshare or lose your phone without a backup, your papers go with it: they exist only on your phone.
