Cove – Fishing Map is a chart, navigation, and catch-log app for people who fish at sea. Open marine data, your own spots, live route recording, and a fishing-focused community sit in one place.

MAP AND SPOTS
• 700,000+ open-data points: marinas, ramps, harbours, wrecks, lights, hazards, and community contributions
• Layers: satellite, nautical chart, depth, fishing, and roads
• Category filter; search marinas, harbours, ramps, and wrecks
• Distance and depth
• Private vault: save a spot for yourself
• Privacy per spot: only you, your followers, an approximate 3 km circle, or the community
• AR bearing: aim the camera toward a target
• Download a chosen area for offline use; the chart opens on the phone when the signal is weak

ROUTES AND TRIPS
• Record a GPS track while trolling, drifting, or running offshore
• Recording can continue with the screen locked and stops when you end the trip
• Live speed, distance, duration, average and maximum speed, moving and idle time
• Weather and sea conditions are stored with the trip
• Attach a catch to the open trip; location and time are written with the session
• Replay a past trip in 2D or 3D
• Repeat a saved line; a warning if you leave the track
• With no signal the trip waits on the phone and uploads when you are back online

PLANNING
• Monthly bite calendar for your area: weather, tides, moon, and sun
• A reminder before the bite window
• Optional alerts for a pressure drop and high activity
• On the map panel: weather, wind, waves, sea-surface temperature, and tide
• A look at keep rules by species, length, and season (sea and inland)
• Quick access to vessel operation and equipment rules
• A species suggestion from a photo. It is an estimate; you confirm the species
• Length on the phone: mouth to tail

CATCH LOG
• Species, length, weight, bait, depth, and a photo
• Released or kept
• Privacy per entry: only you, followers, a blurred circle, or public
• The log stays with past trips

ONBOARD TOOLS
• Anchor alarm: a notification if you leave the radius you set
• Fleet: optional live position with people you trust
• Sea assistance: a VHF reminder and a share of your last known position. This screen does not replace a radio or an official distress call
