About this app
CycleWays helps cyclists discover, plan and navigate bicycle routes in the Upper Galilee.
In the app you can:
• Discover recommended cycling routes with photos, map, elevation profile and points of interest.
• Plan a route between destinations or build a personal route on the road and trail network.
• Receive voice navigation instructions, alerts and vibrations while riding.
• Continue to receive directions even when the screen is locked, using an active navigation alert.
• Share routes and export GPX files.
• Open a destination in Google Maps, Waze or Moovit when the appropriate app is installed.
No need to open an account. Routes, drafts and preferences are saved on the device and are not sent to the CycleWays server.
The route and cycling network data are based, among other things, on OpenStreetMap. The map is provided by Mapbox. Displaying the background map, videos, and opening external navigation services may require an internet connection.
IMPORTANT: Road conditions are subject to change. Please use caution, obey signs and official instructions, and avoid using your screen while riding. The app does not guarantee that every road is open, safe, or suitable at all times.
