Dear Shelf turns the books you've read into a small room you can turn around in your hand.
Search a title, and the book goes onto your shelf with its real cover. Tap it to pull it out and see your rating, a one-line review and the lines you underlined.
Your room is yours to arrange. Put a plant by the window, move the reading chair, hang something on the wall. Some things are there from the start. Others you unlock with stamps and coins as you read.
Other people's shelves are open too. Look around, and if something catches your eye, leave a sticky note on their board. There's no feed and no comment thread, just shelves and the notes people leave on them.
Ride a book to find new shelves. Pick a book and see who else has it on their shelf, then hop over. Next wave takes you to another shelf you haven't seen.
Small things that keep you coming back:
- Become a regular at a shelf you like, and we'll tell you when a new book lands there.
- See what's being read right now on the shelves you're a regular at.
- Tap "Want to read" or "I've read it" on someone else's book.
- Keep the lines you underlined in one place, under Saved lines.
- Collect stamps for reading and visiting, and use coins on room items.
When you want to share, make a short video of your shelf, a card for one book, or a photo of the whole room, and post it wherever you like.
Recording your reading is free.

Books you finish go on a tiny 3D shelf. Visit other shelves and leave a note.
