Deen Words is an Islamic word search built on over 1,100 terms from the Quran, prayer, dhikr, the seerah and 18 more topics. Find a word, and the game shows you what it means. A calm Muslim word game, full of the words of your deen.
Calm, never rushed
This word search has no timer, no energy bar and no lives. Your solving time appears only once the grid is done. Every puzzle is guaranteed solvable, and you can trace the letters in either direction.
2,500 levels, 30 cities, 50+ hours
Your first grid is solved in Makkah. Every ten levels you reach a new city of the Muslim world: Madinah, Al-Quds, Istanbul, Cairo, Córdoba, Samarkand, Fez, Sarajevo, Timbuktu and more, as far as Cape Town. Then the route begins again as Makkah II. The start is gentle: levels 1 to 20 are 6x6 grids with four entries, the largest are 12x12. Nothing runs backwards before level 251. The whole journey holds more than 50 hours of play.
What is in the grid
22 topics: pillars of Islam, prayer, prophets, Ramadan, Hajj and Umrah, surahs, dhikr and dua, names of Allah, animals in the Quran, the companions, the hereafter and more. Hundreds of terms also turn up as their English translation: one grid hides SABR, another PATIENCE. Latin letters throughout, no Arabic script to read.
A hadith to complete, every day
From level 15 a daily task waits, most days a hadith or a saying of the scholars with missing words hidden in the grid. Complete the quote and it joins your collection: 249 quotes, Quran verses with surah and verse, hadith with collection and number, sayings with their source. Each solved task pays 30 coins, and the 7-day streak adds 50 coins on day 3 and 150 coins plus a hint on day 7.
Topic rounds and extreme rounds
66 topic rounds, three on each topic from Ramadan to the prophets, each with its own illustrated scene. From level 30, a finished topic unlocks its extreme round: twelve long entries, all eight directions, and you only see their meanings.
Things to collect
• A small chest of coins waits on the home screen every day, seven in a row from 20 to 100 coins, with a hint in the last. A missed day costs nothing.
• Secret words hide in every grid, off the list. Every 15 you find pay 25 coins.
• 60 stamps mark the milestones of your journey.
• 28 backgrounds: 11 free or unlocked as you travel, 17 for 300 to 3,000 coins.
• 28 avatars, no faces: 16 free or earned by playing, 12 for 150 to 3,000 coins.
Help when you want it
You start with 200 coins and three hints. A hint shows the first letter of a missing entry for 50 coins, a whole answer costs 100, rotating the board is free. Levels pay 10 to 24 coins, every finished city 100 more, and a video you choose to watch adds 100.
A filter stops the random filler letters from spelling anything that has no place in a halal game. No account, no sign-up, no leaderboards, no chat. Your progress stays on your device. Every grid is built on your phone, so this halal puzzle plays offline. Reminders are optional.
In English, German, French, Turkish, Indonesian and Malay. You pick the language on first launch and can change it any time in the settings.
Ads and purchases, honestly
You can play the whole journey without paying. Your first five puzzles are ad-free. After that a banner sits below the board, and a full-screen ad comes after every second or third solved puzzle, never while you search. Videos for coins only play when you tap them. Remove Ads is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: it removes the banner and full-screen ads, and the optional videos stay. Optional coin packs are available too. Google Play shows the price before you buy.
Who it is for
For the Muslim who wants to switch off in the evening without switching off entirely. For reverts meeting the vocabulary of the deen for the first time. For families looking for halal Islamic games. And in Ramadan, when the nights run long, an Islamic word search with no clock fits the quiet hours.
Start in Makkah. See how far you travel.
