I have used this app for years, but when I recently tried to get in on my android app, It does not work, getting messages that says the app keeps crashing. I can still get in on the website, but I have lost at least the last 2 years of entries, which is very sad. Am copying what I can before the website no longer works. Have emailed the developer but No response. They are in Russia, so not expecting much.

I've used this app for over two years ( the free version ) and I rate it very highly. Simple to use, there are useful additions to totally personalise the app. I had a glitch on the phone in early 2019 whereby I had to download all my apps, phone numbers, songs, etc to Google and go back to factory settings. When matters cleared, I couldn't get back my entries prior to April 2019. If you, as developers, can advise me how to get the lost entries back, that would be terrific. A great app.

I had a detailed review including the detailed restore options but I got an error submitting. Add more backup options like export to .pdf or .email (not .doc as those might be corrupted by hackers) because photos and drawings/doodles are not backed up to be restored in other devices. Not fond of .DIARY files already there, it still has photo not found in the entry originating from backup while the original does have those. Add detailed ways to recover and restore entries in those welcome to the app entries instead of just those about creating tags and categories. Maybe a tutorial entry. Or a referral to a tutorial URL. Not a hyperlink. I have figured the backup and restore myself especially from other devices. Change how the add tags (not the +) makes you search for the tags you need. Add type box to search for and add previous used tags. Scrolling down and up an alphabetic list of thousands of tags is way too time consuming. Old app showed a previous used tag while typing to add a tag. Being that back. Drop the emoticons! Or make them selectable to use in the settings for those who do want those. Same for weather and location. Add optional more subentrytitles and times within each entry. Now I just type them. And add those date and time selections in the entries back typing numbers and letters instead of just rolling/swiping to the correct date or time. Old versions (froyo, jellybean) at least had that. Saves time. O and no ads when you try to push the save entry button. Or save and exit just the entry buttons. Bring back the old diary app icon with the diary in it as option. Much better than the D. Develop a Windows private diary app. :-)
