About this app

Get your storage back. Keep every memory.

Doppelgone finds the duplicate and lookalike photos filling up your phone (exact copies, bursts, retakes and photos saved twice from chats) and keeps the best shot of each: eyes open, sharp, well lit.

"It's about time somebody made a specific, user-controlled tool." (MakeUseOf)

HOW IT WORKS
• Scan: Doppelgone looks through your photos right on your phone. Nothing is changed.
• Review: every set shows which photo stays. Tap any photo to keep it too.
• Clean up: only what you approve moves to your phone's Trash, where it stays for 30 days. Undo with one tap.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your photos are analysed on your phone and never uploaded.
• No account, no sign-up, no ads.
• Doppelgone never deletes anything permanently and never touches photos you didn't approve.

FAST
• Uses your phone's graphics chip to compare thousands of photos in minutes.
• Finds exact copies, near-copies (edited, resized, re-saved), bursts and similar shots.

FREE AND PRO
• Clean 200 photos free.
• Pro is one payment, no subscription: unlimited clean-ups on up to 3 libraries (this phone, your computers, Google Photos and iCloud Photos with the Doppelgone apps for Windows, Mac and Chrome).

What’s new

Look before you delete: tap the magnifier on any photo to see it full size, with its file name, folder, size and dates. New rules let you choose which copy to keep (oldest, newest or last changed) and which folders to always keep or remove first.
