About this app

Dtecto is the metal detecting app made for detectorists — track hunts, log finds, and dig into a community that actually gets it.

Whether you're chasing colonial coins, Civil War relics, or beach silver, Dtecto gives you the tools to hunt smarter and the community to share the score.

• Public or private per find — you decide what's shared
• Community feed with likes, comments, saves, and follows
• Interactive satellite map with your pins and community pins
• Hunt tracking: start a session, walk your route, capture step count and distance
• Pre-flight conditions strip: sunset countdown, weather, and soil moisture at a glance
• Top Detectorists leaderboard — weekly, monthly, all-time
• Detectorist score that grows with every public find and community engagement
• Anonymous browsing — try the app without signing up

JOIN THE HUNT
Try Dtecto anonymously — browse the community feed, explore the map, and see what other detectorists are finding. When you're ready to log finds and post your hauls, sign in with Apple, Google, or email.
